Early Spring Update
Spring is in full swing and the team here at Red Star is thrilled to get the season underway. We’ve got many exciting events coming up in the next couple months, starting with one of our new clients The Head and the Heart. This must-see band, who are not to be missed if you find them playing in your neck of the woods, have embarked on a thirty-nine show spring tour. Highlights include stops at the Vic Theatre in Chicago, the Fillmore in San Francisco and The Coachella Music Festival in Indio, CA.
We’re super excited to see The Dave Matthews Band is back on tour this year! After taking most of 2011 off with the exception being the DMB Caravans, the band hits the road in May for forty-one shows starting on 5/18 in The Woodlands, TX and ending on 9/9 in Mountain View, CA. Tickets are on sale now, and make sure you stop by the online store to pick up new gear for 2012.
As always, Red Star is pleased to assist for the 11th straight year with The Bonnaroo Music Festival happening 6/7-6/10 in Manchester, TN. This year’s lineup is smoking and a handful of RSM clients will be performing at the festival including Phish, Punch Brothers, Alabama Shakes and Blind Pilot. We’re excited to see old faces and new alike, so don’t be shy and stop by the merch stands to say hello and to check out the 2012 merchandise offerings.
Phish is on the books for another 2012 tour and they have just announced 33 summer dates starting on 6/7 in Worcester, MA. We love these guys and are excited to see them headlining one night of Bonnaroo this year while also making a stop down the road from us in Portsmouth, VA for a two night stint.
The 2012 tour and festival seasons are shaping up quite nicely, which is well deserved for those music lovers who have been on respite. Here’s to another great year of live music and to hoping we get to experience some of these events with you along the way.
