Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead
In 2015, Fourth of July weekend celebrated more than just the signing of our nation’s Declaration of Independence and freedom from British rule. We celebrated another historical event that saw the reunion of the four original Grateful Dead members–Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, and Bob Weir–who performed together again, one last time, nearly two decades after the last Grateful Dead concert. Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead took place at Chicago’s Soldier Field over the 3-day weekend, and the group was joined by Trey Anastasio (guitar), Jeff Chimenti (keyboards), and Bruce Hornsby (piano).
Red Star built an exclusive merchandise tent with concepts of elegant design and function in mind to fulfill the retail experience. Our stand was built from scratch using rudimentary tools and pallets, creating an extensive merchandise gallery that featured official event merchandise apparel items, exclusive art, and truly unique souvenirs to commemorate the occassion. GD fans and collectors alike found their merchandise needs fulfilled upon leaving the tent.
This was truly an historic event where we celebrated 50 years of The Grateful Dead, a rule if there ever was one.
